Alex Katz
Alex Katz was born on July 24, 1927 in Brooklyn, New York. He studied at Cooper Union in New York as well as at the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture in Maine. He is considered one of the key figures in the Pop Art movement and has been one of the leading figures in representational painting since the 1970s.
