April Gornik
April Gornik lives and works in New York City and in North Haven, Long Island, NY. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio, in 1953. She received a BFA from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design, Nova Scotia, Canada, in 1976. She has work in the Metropolitan Museum of Art, NY, the Whitney Museum of Art, NY, the Museum of Modern Art, NY, the National Museum of American Art in Washington, DC, and other major public and private collections. She has shown extensively, in one-person and group shows, in the United States and abroad.
