George Condo

George Condo was born in 1957 in Concord, New Hampshire. He works in both painting and sculpture and is considered a leader in the neo-Surrealist movement. He draws from all kinds of sources including American caricatures, European portraiture, as well as Greek art. He has exhibited at the Tate Modern, London, Guggenheim, New York City, Whitney Museum, New York and Museum of Modern Art, New York among others. He currently lives and works in New York City.
