Mark Humphrey Gallery? 95 Main St., Southampton, New York (631) 283-3113
Carolyn Conrad's recent work embraces all the approaches used in her work over the years: painting, printmaking, assemblage, sculpture and photography. The new digital prints present objects and their surroundings in a dialogue more psychological than abstract. A mysterious space is created through an undefined scale of objects.
Carolyn Conrad was born and raised in Massachusetts. She received a BFA from Massachusetts College of Art in Boston and an MA from New York University. She has taught at the University of Massachusetts, the University of Kentucky, and Toro College in NYC, and has exhibited her work in the United States and Europe. Carolyn currently lives in Sag Harbor, NY.?
